Since 2000, Sergio began working as a Lighting Designer, Lighting/Sound Booth operator. He apprenticed with Mark Baker, and has since designed lighting for dance companies, such as WCB Arts foundation, Lions Pounce, Santa Monica Contemporary Ballet and many more. In 2006 Sergio served as the lighting designer for the Kybele Dance Theater at the legendary Merce Cunningham Dance Studios in New York City.
In June 2008, Sergio joined the MET family when he designed the lighting for "M-16 The Opera". Later that year Sergio went back to the MET to design the lighting for "Abe and His Coconuts".
In 2009, Sergio joined the Write Act Repertory as the lighting designer for the following productions, “Four Shadows," "Brooklyn USA," “Our Beds are Crowded,” and Michael Sadler’s “Eclectica”. The following year his work could be seen in the world premiere musical “Butterfly” by Michael Antin.
He designed the lighting at the "El Portal Theater" in North Hollywood for the Joseph Allen Decker Dance Company and their performance "Relationship REMIX.", at The Miles Playhouse in Santa Monica he designed for Los Angeles Choreographers and Dancers “Baggage” and for G.K Chesterton Theater Co. production "Viva Cristo Rey" and finally at the Diavolo Space for the "L.A. Dance Festival 2012" Co-produced by Diavolo Dance Theater and the Brockus Project Dance Company.
His latest work included "Power in the Blood", "Walking From a Dream", "Haywire", "Interior Design", "D3linquentz", "The Negative Room", "Women Inventing Theater - Connections", "Geeks! The Musical!", "Sophia", "Claude Newman: A Miracle on Death Row", "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street", "Tap Dance Widows Club", "Oxford Street Dance Theater", "Arroz Con Spam y Bento", "LA DANCE FESTIVAL 2013", "Duck Hunter Shoots Angel" with Neo Ensemble Theatre at the Pasadena Playhouse and finally "Delicious Reality", "In-Q Live at the Miles" and "MixMatch Dance Festival". Sergio is very excited to be working in his first production with Theatre for a Small Space.
Much Ado About Nothing marked Christopher’s stage debut. A recent transplant to Santa Monica from the East coast, he spent most of his adult life working in motion pic- ture and television advertising by day and playing medium-loud music in NYC’s downtown clubs by night. He has directed commercials, composed music for commercials and films— most recently for Noah Baumbach and Jennifer Jason Leigh’s Greenberg with the seminal St. Louis punk band, Drunks With Guns (Mr. Otazo has never been to St Louis.)

Erin J Anderson is thrilled to be working on Much Ado with such a wonderful team. She recently received her BFA in Theatre Design from the USC School of Theatre. Her lighting and scenic designs have been seen in such productions as City of Angels, Dead Man's Cell Phone, The American Clock, and Balm in Gilead at USC. Most recently, Erin was Production Designer on a short film entitled Choice, produced by Michael Chan. Originally from Harrisburg, PA, Erin is excited to be living and working in Los Angeles.
